Remote Data Entry

 

Remote Data Entry is an Add-on to the PHOENIX® Automation software that allows dealers to maintain their accounts without impeding operations at the central station. Remote Data Entry eliminates redundant data by empowering dealers to:

 

             V  Enter new accounts

             V  Modify and delete accounts

             V  Put accounts on TEST

             V  Remove accounts from TEST

             V  View signal history

 

Security is an integral part of the Remote Data Entry product.  Each dealer has parameters that define the level of access to the Phoenix system. Vital information can easily be protected by limiting access to specific data and functions.

 

Connecting to the Phoenix system can be accomplished with a simple modem/telephone line at the dealer site and using a Remote Access Service (RAS) connection at the Phoenix site.

 

Remote users also have the option to access the Phoenix system using established LAN/WAN/Internet/VPN connections.
