Field Tech Access

 

Field Tech Access is an Add-on to the PHOENIX® Automation software that allows technicians to place transmitters on TEST status and review transmitter signal history without Central Station intervention.

 

Using a standard touch-tone phone, technicians may place a transmitter on TEST for a specified period of time. All signals received for the transmitter will continue to be logged into the database. No event condition is created that requires operator response. At any time, technicians have the ability to review transmitter signal history.

 

Field Tech Access increases Central Station productivity. Technicians place transmitters on TEST and review signal history without having to wait for operator assistance. Operators are free to concentrate on processing actual emergencies.

 

The built-in security features ensure that technicians can access the system only when they are on duty and places limits on the length of time transmitters can be placed on TEST.
